Professors Sunder and Biagioli Speak at UC Davis ‘Art of Appropriation' Conference

On March 18, Professor Madhavi Sunder and Professor Mario Biagioli spoke "The Art of Appropriation" conference sponsored by the Davis Humanities Institute Studies in Performance and Practice Research Cluster and the Center for Science and Innovation Studies Presents at UC Davis. Professor Sunder presented her paper, "Learning By Doing." Professor Biagioli gave a talk entitled "Against Pastures: The Commons as Movement from."

Madhavi Sunder is a Professor of Law at King Hall whose special interests include intellectual property, law and culture studies, women's rights, and international intellectual property.

Professor Biagioli, an internationally renowned expert in the fields of Intellectual Property and the History of Copyright, is the founding Director of the Center for Innovation Studies at UC Davis.
