Professor Frank Comments for Grist.org on Climate Change Lawsuits

Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank commented for Grist.org on the prospect of climate change victims suing companies shown to have contributed to global warming.  Professor Frank said that this was unlikely, given the U.S. Supreme Court rulings that the Clean Air Act displaces federal common law regarding the regulation of the greenhouse gas emissions that are causing climate change.

Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
