Professors McAllister and Frank Speak at State Bar Environmental Law Section Yosemite Conference
On October 26, Professor Lesley McAllister and Professor of Environmental Practice Rick Frank `74 spoke as part of a panel at the State Bar Environmental Law Section's annual Yosemite Conference. That conference, now in its 21st year, brings together 500 California environmental lawyers, policymakers, judges, and legislators for keynote addresses and panels covering a broad range of environmental law and policy topics. Professors McAllister and Frank spoke on the topic, "Recent Environmental Law Developments in the U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and California Supreme Court."
In addition, a record-setting total of 18 King Hall law students attended this year's Yosemite Conference. Their participation was facilitated by grants from the State Bar and law firms; generous support from the King Hall Administration; faculty contributions; and aggressive fundraising efforts by the law school's Environmental Law Society.
