Jay Carlisle '69 Publishes in New York State Bar Association Journal

Jay Carlisle '69, Professor of Law at Pace Law School in White Plains, New York, has published an article in the New York State Bar Association Journal on New York's code of civil procedure, the Civil Practice Law & Rules (CPLR).  The article, "Happy Anniversary to the CPLR: A Joint Achievement of the Practicing Bar and the Academy," offers a historical perspective on the enactment of the code.

Carlisle joined Pace Law School in 1978 and has taught courses in Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Negotiations, Professional Responsibility, Civil Litigation in New York, Dispute Resolution, Remedies, Evidence, Civil Rights Law, and the Legal Profession. He was honored with the Barbara Salken Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award at the Pace Law School Class of 2013 graduation in May.
