Professor Sunder Speaks at University of Pennsylvania School of Law

Professor Madhavi Sunder presented her paper, "Learning by Doing," at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law on September 17. The paper argues that copyright law must concern itself not just with the production of expression by professional creators, but also with ensuring the ability of ordinary citizens to critically engage and repurpose popular cultural works.

Madhavi Sunder is a Professor of Law at King Hall whose special interests included intellectual property, law and culture studies, women's rights, and international intellectual property.
