King Hall Faculty Presents at Biennial LatCrit Conference

UC Davis School of Law Professors Angela Harris, Rose Cuison Villazor, and Leticia Saucedo spoke in various capacities at the 2013 Biennial LatCrit Conference held in Chicago October 3-6. 

Professor Harris was a speaker on the opening plenary and a panelist on a discussion of "Law and Capitalism." She also took part in a roundtable discussion of Presumed Incompetent: The Beginning of a Movement in Academia?, a book she co-authored with Carmen Gonzalez of Seattle University Law School. Professor Villazor spoke as part of the closing plenary, "Con Papeles o Sin Papeles (With Papers or Without Papers): Immigration Law Organizing, Legislating, and Litigating."  Professor Saucedo took part in a panel on "Building a 21st Century Labor Movement: Prospects & Problematics."
