Professor Lee Speaks at Stanford Law School, Chicago-Kent College of Law

Professor Peter Lee recently presented a work-in-progress, co-authored with Professor Madhavi Sunder, entitled "The Law of Look and Feel" at Stanford Law School. Professor Lee's presentation was part of the "Design Patents in the Modern World" conference hosted at Stanford. The piece draws from doctrinal limitations on protecting "look and feel" in copyrights, trademarks, and utility patents to suggest limitations on design patents as well.

In addition, Professor Lee recently presented a work-in-progress entitled "Patents and the University" at Chicago-Kent College of Law. This forthcoming article examines the ways in which the patent system regulates academic science and vice versa and provides recommendations for enhancing this relationship.

Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
