King Hall Team Places Third in Traynor Appellate Moot Court Competition

Ben Fox '13, Shannon Thomson '13, and Jasmine Tzeng '13 competed in the Roger J. Traynor California Appellate Moot Court Competition hosted on April 14 by San Joaquin College of Law at the Fresno Federal Courthouse. This year's problem involved the plaintiff's right to recovery from a railroad company resulting from a family member's fatal accident under California tort law. The team submitted a written brief and competed in two rounds of oral arguments. Fox '13, Thomson '13, and Tzeng ‘13 placed third overall for excellence in oral advocacy.

The team would like to thank the Dean's office for its generous financial support.
