Judge Judy Hersher '84 Writes Op-ed for Sacramento Lawyer
Sacramento Superior Court Judge Judy Hersher '84 has published an op-ed in the May/June issue of Sacramento Lawyer magazine, a publication of the Sacramento County Bar Association. The article deals with the "doctrine of preclusion of inconsistent positions" or "judicial estoppel."
Judge Hersher is a member of the King Hall Alumni on the Bench Association and the Alumni Association Board of Directors. She left a partnership at Downey, Brand, Seymour, & Rohwer to be sworn in as a Sacramento Superior Court Judge in February 2001. She has been an active member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento, and has been honored with the Sacramento County Bar Association Humanitarian of the Year award.
