Child Abduction Article Honored

An article by two experts at UC Davis School of Law --Carol Bruch and Margaret Durkin -- has been selected as the American Bar Association's best family law article of the year.  Bruch, a family law expert, is Distinguished Professor Emerita and Research Professor of Law.  Durkin, a lawyer and reference librarian, is the Head of Library Services at the school's Mabie Law Library. Their article, "The Hague's Online Child Abduction Materials: A Trap for the Unwary," appeared in the ABA's Family Law Quarterly last spring and will be digested next March in GPSolo magazine as part of a special "Best of ABA Sections" issue.  The full article appears at 44 Family Law Quarterly 65 (2010).  This is the third time since 1996 that Bruch's work has been chosen for the honor.
