Professor Frank Gives Presentation on Supreme Court Decision at ABA Convention
Visiting Lecturer Richard Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, gave a presentation to the American Bar Association's Annual Convention on August 6 in San Francisco on the U.S. Supreme Court's most important environmental decision from its recently concluded term, Stop the Beach Renourishment v. Florida Dept. of Natural Resources. Professor Frank participated in a panel discussion with several other academics and practitioners who, like Frank, represented parties or amici curiae before the Supreme Court in this property rights case involving coastal beaches and resources.
Professor Frank is Executive Director of the Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment at UC Berkeley and a Visiting Lecturer at King Hall.
