Professors Chander, Bjorklund Speak at Santa Clara Symposium

Professors Anupam Chander and Andrea Bjorklund spoke at the 2010 Santa Clara Journal of International Law Symposium on "Corporations and International Law" on March 12-13.  Professor Chander delivered a lunch lecture on "Social Responsibility of Information Technology Companies," which included part of his article "Googling Freedom," which is forthcoming in the California Law Review.  Professor Bjorklund participated in a panel discussion of "Corporations as Plaintiffs under Bilateral Investment Treaties."

Anupam Chander is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law and a leading scholar in the law of globalization and digitization.  He has written widely on international law, cyber law, and corporate law.

Andrea Bjorklund is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law.  Her research focuses on international investment disputes and she has published widely in that area, with articles in the Virginia Journal of International Law, the American Review of International Arbitration, and the Oxford Handbook of International Investment Law.
