Professor Ikemoto to Deliver Keynote Address at Health Disparities Symposium

Professor Lisa Ikemoto will deliver a keynote address at the 2010 Spring Symposium at Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota on March 12.  The symposium, sponsored by the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy and the Hamline Critical Legal Studies Group, will explore health disparities in the United States using Critical Race Theory.

Lisa Ikemoto teaches bioethics and health law courses at the UC Davis School of Law.  She has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care.  Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
