David Rosenberg '74 Re-elected to Trial Court Presiding Judges Committee
David Rosenberg '74, Yolo County Superior Court's Presiding Judge, has been re-elected to the executive committee of the statewide Trial Court Presiding Judges Advisory Committee, an advisory committee composed of the presiding judges of the Superior Courts in all 58 California counties that serves to convey the perspective of trial courts to the Judicial Council (the policy-making body of the California courts) and provide an opportunity for court leaders to assist in the creation of policies that affect the trial courts.
As a member of the executive committee, Rosenberg will represent courts composed of six to 15 judges, including Butte, El Dorado, Humboldt, Imperial, Kings, Madera, Marin, Mendocino, Merced, Napa, Nevada, Placer, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Shasta, and Yolo counties.
"It's an honor to be recognized and elected by the other California presiding judges to be a member of their executive committee," Rosenberg said in a news release. "Trial courts today face enormous challenges to do more with less. I will continue to ensure that Yolo sits at the table when decisions are made, and I will continue to provide honest and constructive input from the trial courts to the Judicial Council."
