Professor Jaime Comments on Domestic Violence for Woodland Democrat
Professor Krystal Callaway Jaime commented on the issue of domestic violence for an article in the Woodland Democrat. The news story notes that 75 percent of assaults in Woodland are domestic violence related, a problem Professor Jaime said has been exacerbated by the poor economic climate.
"I don't think people realize what kind of an impact this has on everybody whether or not you've been a victim of domestic violence," said Professor Jaime.
Professor Jaime is Director of the Woodland-based UC Davis School of Law Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic.
