Professor Larson Speaks at Yolo County Bar Association
Professor Carlton F.W. Larson addressed the Yolo County Bar Association on Thursday, October 15. The title of his talk was "Heller, Originalism, and the Second Amendment," examining the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in District of Columbia v. Heller.
Earlier this year, Professor Larson spoke at the UC Hastings Law Journal's symposium, "The Second Amendment after Heller." His paper "Four Exceptions in Search of a Theory: District of Columbia v. Heller and Judicial Ipse Dixit" was published in the June issue of the Hastings Law Journal.
Carlton Larson's research interests focus on constitutional law and legal history, with a strong emphasis on the 18th century.
