Tom Stallard '75 Underwrites UC Davis at 100 Documentary
King Hall graduate and Alumni Board Past President Tom Stallard '75 and wife Meg Stallard are underwriters of a half-hour program titled
UC Davis at 100.
Airing on KVIE public television Channel 6, UC Davis at 100 recounts the University's highlights and accomplishments as it celebrates its centennial year. The program is funded in part by the Yamada-Hosley Family Fund of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, and Tom and Meg Stallard.
"Meg and I decided to do this for several reasons: gratitude to the institution where we both got our undergraduate educations, gratitude to the institution where our son David and I received our legal educations, and gratitude to the institution that is making such a difference in the world today, including arts programming for our region," says Stallard, who has spent six years on the board at KVIE.
"The UC Davis Centennial was a great story for KVIE Public Television to bring to our region, and Meg and Tom's support helped make it possible," said Kevin Smith-Fagan, vice president for development at KVIE. "They've been incredibly generous to the KVIE mission for many years and they joined David Hosley, a UC Davis Foundation trustee, and gayle yamada in leadership support for the production."
UC Davis at 100 will have multiple airdates throughout October.
