Professor Brownstein to Speak on First Amendment in Oregon, Washington D.C.
Professor Alan Brownstein will be a panelist at two upcoming events.
“The Future of the First Amendment” symposium on October 16 at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon will explore developments in First Amendment law. Professor Brownstein will be part of a panel on the religion clauses of the First Amendment.
The Federalist Society's National Lawyers Convention is scheduled for November 12-14 in Washington, D.C. The theme for this year's convention is "The Federal Government's Economic Role in our Constitutional System." Professor Brownstein will participate in a panel discussion titled “Religious Liberty and the Limits of Government Power.”
Professor Alan Brownstein, a nationally recognized Constitutional Law scholar, teaches Constitutional Law, Law and Religion, and Torts at King Hall. He holds the Boochever and Bird Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom and Equality.
