Dean Johnson Speaks on Immigration, Ethnic Profiling at Washington University
Dean Kevin R. Johnson gave a series of presentations at Washington University in St. Louis, speaking on ethnic profiling and immigration.
On October 8, the dean took part in a panel discussion of "Security Based Ethnic Profiling" with Margaret Chon of Seattle University School of Law, Terry Kennedy, St. Louis City Alderman, and Jennifer Rafanan, Executive Director Missouri Immigrant & Refugee Advocates, with moderator Kathleen Clark of Washington University Law School. He also spoke at a faculty colloquium and delivered a public lecture on U.S. immigration policy as part of Washington University Law's Public Interest Law and Policy Speakers series, which is now available for viewing online.
Kevin R. Johnson is dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o Studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
