King Hall Shines in National Moot Court Competition
Students from the UC Davis School of Law placed among the top four in the first annual Moot Court National Championship hosted this year by the University of Houston Law Center January 15-17. UC Davis was one of only 16 law schools invited to the elite competition.
The King Hall team, consisting of Nabil Bisharat '09, Megan Bruce ‘09, and Jenny Chang ‘09, survived four preliminary rounds to compete in the semi-finals against teams from UC Hastings, Regents University, and University of Detroit Mercy, which ultimately prevailed.
The King Hall team was grateful to their coach, Professor Timothy Schooley, as well as Professors Dylan Malagrino and Albert Lin, who acted as moot judges to help the team prepare for the competition.
