Professor David Caron, faculty at Berkeley Law and the current president of the American Society for International Law, will deliver a lecture titled, "Images of the Arctic and the Futures They Suggest" at 4:00 P.M. The Arctic is changing, and peoples and nations are approaching that change holding quite different images of the Arctic.  In his wide-ranging lecture and visual tour, David Caron identifies the images involved, the politics and law implicit in each, and the futures for the Arctic that are both possible and likely.
