The amount of financial aid eligibility or “need” is determined by a complex set of formulas known as the Federal Methodology (FM). The initial FM analysis is provided by the Federal Processor. It is important to remember that while FM dictates the initial eligibility, the Financial Aid Office has the ability and desire to recognize non-traditional or unique circumstances. It is important to communicate any unusual circumstances, in writing, to the School of law Financial Aid Office.
