The Gold Country
Gold was discovered in California in 1848 and the following year saw thousands of gold seekers flooding the region. The Gold Country preserves much of our gold rush heritage. Located along historic highway 49, The Gold Country is approximately 1-2 hours from Davis, depending on where you are headed.
