To be eligible to become a Vinson & Elkins Diversity Fellow, students must attend and be in good standing at an American Bar Association accredited law school. Eligible students must (i) be a member of a racial/ethnic group which has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession (i.e. Asian, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Multiracial, and Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander), (ii) have a strong undergraduate and law school record, (iii) possess excellent writing skills, and (iv) demonstrate interest in working in a law firm setting in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas.
