Incorporated Society of Irish/American Lawyers Scholarship

Each year, the Incorporated Society of Irish/American Lawyers awards a scholarship in the name of the late Thomas P. Thornton, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan, and a founding member of the Society. This year, the Society will be awarding two (2) $1,500.00 scholarships to those applicants who provide us with their resume, financial need, transcript of grades, and a short letter stating why they should be awarded the scholarship. The recipients will be chosen from the law school applicants who are seniors, graduating in the year 2012, or juniors who will be graduating in the year 2013. Recipent must have an overall 2.50 cumulative GPA. Recipent must be of Irish decent
