The Fredrikson & Byron Foundation Minority Scholarship Program sponsors educational opportunities for currently enrolled, first-year law students of diverse backgrounds, to enhance the understanding and awareness of minority law students regarding opportunities for the private practice of law in the Upper Midwest.

For purposes of eligibility for consideration for the minority scholarship, applicants must affirm their status as a member of a minority classification as designated in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Regulations, 29 C.F.R. Part 1602 (i.e., Native American or Alaskan Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, African-American or Black, and Hispanic).
