Arent Fox LLP Diversity Scholarship Program
Application Period: December - January
Deadline: January 22, 2013 Applicants are encouraged to apply on or shortly after December 1 as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Arent Fox offers a scholarship award of $15,000 to three first-year law students who are members of a diverse population that historically has been underrepresented in the legal profession.
The primary goals of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee are to recruit, retain and promote lawyers of color, women and LGBT lawyers, and to ensure that adequate firm resources are dedicated to their training, mentoring, coaching and business development.
Award: Three awards of $15,000. The scholarship recipients will also join Arent Fox’s 2013 summer associate program. Each of the firm’s three offices – Washington, New York, Los Angeles – will host one of the recipients for the summer.
