Established to provide first-year minority law students with a valuable employment experience early in their legal career, this scholarship will be awarded to a minority candidate (as defined in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commissions Regulations, 29 C.F.R. Part 1602, i.e. Native American or Alaska native, Asian or Pacific Islander, African-American or Black and Hispanic) who demonstrates leadership skills, academic strength, service to the community and an overall commitment to excellence.

Minority students in their first year of legal studies currently enrolled in an ABA-approved law school are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
