Mindy is the Director of Career Services at the University of California, Davis School of Law. Prior to her current position Mindy practiced law as a litigation associate at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop) in Los Angeles; served as Director, Chief Advocate, and Fundraiser for The Anti-Violence Project, a non-profit advocacy group for hate-crime victims in Los Angeles; and worked as a contract attorney for various law firms. Following practice she worked as a marketing executive, and then as a recruiter for Waldorf Associates in Los Angeles placing attorneys and working with a variety of private sector legal entities. Mindy earned a Bachelor of Arts,
cum laude, in English from Vassar College and a Juris Doctorate,
with Honors, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was a published Member and Editor on the Law Review.
Lori A. Reifschneider

Lori is the Assistant Director of Career Services and advises current law school students on career management and job search strategies. She also coordinates the judicial clerkship program. Lori formerly worked for the University of Southern California in Sacramento as the Administrator for the USC California Policy Institute. Prior to USC, Lori worked for three years at the San Francisco office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP in attorney recruiting and professional development. Lori also worked for the Career Services Office at the University of San Francisco School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Studies from American University in Washington, DC.
Kimberly Thomas
Public Interest Coordinator

Kim joined the Career Services staff as Public Interest Coordinator in January 2002. She advises students and alumni who are interested in public interest/public sector work on all aspects of preparation for professional opportunities, including career design, hiring procedures, market trends, resumes, cover letters, and search strategies. Kim oversees and administers the pro bono and public service law certification programs. She also plans and coordinates the Public Service Graduation. Prior to joining UC Davis, she was the Assistant Director of Career Services at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Kim is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Lisa Taylor Carlock
Employment Projects Coordinator
Lisa Taylor Carlock earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at UC Davis in 1993 and her law degree from King Hall in 1997. While at King Hall, Lisa served as Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, Lisa worked as an associate in the Sacramento office of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman), where she specialized in real estate and corporate transactional matters. In 2002, Lisa returned to King Hall to assist the office of Career Services with various employment projects, including the development of the Alumni Coaching Program.
Michelle Robards

Michelle joined the Career Services team in October 2004 and administers the Fall and Spring On-Campus Interview Programs. Prior to joining the Career Services team, Michelle worked for county government and the court.
