Bar Association of SF & Law School Networking Workshop/Mixer - December 9th
Career Services is pleased to announce that it will be co-sponsoring a networking workshop and mixer, "Mind the Gap & Law School Open House," with five bay area law schools and the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF). The event will take place on Monday, December 9th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the BASF offices at in San Francisco. ;
This event was specifically designed for recent law school graduates to further develop their networking skills. For the first portion of the event, consultant Jill Wesley will run an interactive session and give participants an opportunity to develop and practice new skills. For the second portion of the event, BASF members (officers, committee chairs, etc.) will join recent graduates for a networking mixer. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity to attend this free networking workshop and mixer on Monday, December 9th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the BASF offices at 301 Battery Street, Third Floor, San Francisco. Young Alumni Association: Distinguished Alumni Speakers Panel
On Thursday, December 5th in Century City, the Young Alumni Association will have a Distinguished Alumni Speakers Panel. The event will feature alumni who have distinguished themselves at various points in their careers (i.e., 10-15 years into practice, 30 years, and 40+ years). The speakers lined up include the General Counsel of Blackberry, the former General Counsel of Yamaha USA, a current Assistant US Attorney in the Central District, and possibly a Loyola Law School professor (who also works for a well-regarded boutique in LA and formerly clerked for both Judge Pregersons). Dean Johnson will be in attendance to introduce the speakers.

2L Judicial Clerkship Information Session for - November 20th
This Wednesday, November 20 at noon in Room 1001, please attend the judicial clerkship presentation and panel to get all the details of the upcoming judicial application process. The presentation will include a panel of 3Ls who have successfully lined up post-graduate judicial clerkships and are willing to share their insight to the process. If you are seriously considering judicial clerkships, the time to begin preparing your application materials starts now.
