Scholarships Give Students a Chance to Reach a Dream
Endowed scholarships help fulfill the dreams of many students, who energize our campus through their leadership, intellect and character, but who cannot afford a legal education on their own. Our socially diverse community is the source of strength and distinctiveness. We pride ourselves in accessibility; however, law school is expensive. Often, a student’s only hope for higher education is with the help of a scholarship.
As fees and other education costs rise, (fees are over $28,000 a year at the Law School today) it becomes increasingly important to keep growing scholarship funds available to students. Endowed scholarships can be established to create long-term sources of income for these critically important areas. Endowed funds invest the principal and allow the annual income to be available for use as specified by the endowment. Endowed scholarships can be established for a minimum of $100,000.
Contributions can also be made to the existing King Hall "General Scholarship Fund." Your donation is significant and essential to help King Hall continue to recruit the best and brightest students, and to remain competitive with the nation’s top-ranked law schools. Your gift today can change a student’s life. Make an online gift to the General Scholarship Fund today!
