Visiting a Class
If you would like to visit a class, contact the Admission Ofice approximately 3 – 5 days prior to your visit.Given adequate notification and faculty approval, the Admission Office can usually arrange for you to visit a first-year class. It is imperative that visitors arrive on time for class and remain until the class ends. Each class lasts approximately 50 minutes. To see the list of courses and times on our web site go to Student Services, Registrar, Schedules. To see course descriptions go to Registrar, Course Descriptions. Tours
Guided tours for individuals and prelaw groups are available by arrangement. Individuals should contact the Admission Office by telephoning 530.752.6477 at least one week in advance of the visit. Groups should make arrangements at least 2-3 weeks in advance.Law student volunteers act as tour guides and provide a personalized view of the school based on their own experiences. Guided tours usually begin around the beginning of October. Please consult the Law School academic calendar to determine when classes are in session and student tour guides are available. Guided tours are not available during reading periods, exam periods, holidays, and summer vacation. (See Student Services > Registrar> Academic Calendar) If your schedule conflicts with the availability of the tour guides, you may opt to take a self-guided tour with the help of a brochure designed for that purpose. Brochures are located at the front desk in the Admission Office, Room 115 on the lower level of Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall. Directions
