Each year a small number of non-matriculant or visiting students may be admitted on a “space-available” basis. Non-matriculants may enroll for one semester or one year of study at UC Davis Law School. All coursework is credited to the law school from which the student will earn the Juris Doctor degree.
October 1 - December 15 for admission in Spring semester
June 1 - July 15 for admission in Fall semester

One letter of recommendation from a law professor.

Letter of good standing from the Dean of your law school stating that coursework completed at UC Davis will be accepted toward that school’s degree requirements, and specifying any minimum grade requirements.
- LSDAS report including LSAT score and undergraduate transcripts, reactivated through LSDAS
Non-matriculants may not enroll in clinical program courses or law review.
Non-matriculants pay fees to the school they are visiting.
